What To Expect
Free Consultation Contact:
The 15 minute consultation call is always free. Calls not your thing? You are welcome to reach out through the contact page. We will check in about what you hope to gain from therapy, and ensure we will be able to work through your goals together. I will explain a little about the practice and next steps. At the end of the call, we can schedule your first appointment.
Before Your First Appointment:
You will be sent several forms to complete before your intake appointment. These forms commonly include an intake packet, consent to treat, practice policies, and may include screening questionnaires. These forms should be completed before your appointment so that we can spend time focusing on your needs and goals rather than covering just the basics.
At The First Appointment:
An intake appointment serves as a launching point for therapy where we talk about a lot of different topics. You may share the important details of what has led you to therapy, how life got you here, what has helped you up to this point, and even how you grew up. This appointment is the most question-heavy, and by the end we will use all the information to outline your goals.
Types of Appointments
